Well as you know, I’ve become a bit of a Mac zealot (thanks Ted) and strongly favour TextMate as my preferred editor for coding and scripting … Unfortunately, my real job is in a pure Windows environment, so if you’re after a hit of TextMate-like functionality, try Intype … It’s currently available as a free Alpha release, and is work looking at if you’re stuck on Windoze …
Intype is a powerful and intuitive code editor for Windows with lightning fast response. It is easily extensible and customizable, thanks in part to its support for scripting and native plug-ins. It makes development in any programming or scripting language quick and easy.

I get a 404 trying to go to http://intype.org and the last post on their blogspot blog was from 2006. Are these guys still around?
Actually I’m not too sure, their blog is looking vacant …
The link is .info, not .org

If you want a copy give us an email on contact page.
Cheers
Tim
Hi guys, I’ve since ditched inType and gone back to SciTE. It’s free, has good support for common languages and is well developed/maintained.
Get it at: http://www.scintilla.org/

I may be a little, well, way late, but TextShell is almost an exact port of TextMate. It cost $50 and it kicks E Text Editor butt. ^_^ Plus it bundles Ruby, Gem, CygWin, and Rails.
I almost forgot! Their website is http://textshell.co.uk
